KUMHO KSL 100 Series is carboxylated
styrene-butadiene copolymerized
latex; and we produce KSL103,
106. The surface of the product
is softened to exhibit outstanding
friction strength, making it suitable
for a base latex for carpet backing.
It is also suitable to bind fabrics,
sandpapers, and non-woven fabrics.
KUMHO KSL 200 Series is carboxylated
styrene-butadiene copolymerized
latex, and we produce KSL 201,
202, 203, 204, 206, 207, 208,
209, 210 and 220. The KSL 200
Series is excellent for blending
and stability with various adhesive
agents and is designed to meet
the demands of severe conditions,
such as solidity, speed, and also
for latex rich recipes. It can
be applied to any kinds of recipe
such as rods, air knives and blade
coaters and it is excellent for
stability and in a printing environment.
KUMHO KSL 300 Series is styrene-butadiene
latex, and we produce KSL 315,
322,
341, 362, and 371. KSL 322 is hot-polymerized
latex, which is used as a binder
to strengthen the adhesion forces
between fabric and rubber by blending
a vinyl pyridine latex and resorcinol-formaldehyde
solution. It is excellent in adhesion,
heat-resistance, blending, and
stability, which are necessary
for tire cord dipping. KSL 341
has a high solid content with
large particles, and is excellent
in rubber sponge products. KSL
362 is styrene-butadiene latex
used for cement mortar, and it
gives cement mortar excellent
properties, such as water-repellency
and impact strength. KSL371 is
used to strengthen the impact
strength of foam products KUMHO
KSL 5000 Series is polystyrene
latex, which has uniform particle
size and a round-shape. It has
been designed to improve Blister
Pack in coated paperboard, enhancing
brightness, whiteness, and opacity
with a smaller amount used than
the inorganic pigment in paper
manufacturing. We produce KSL
5123 and 5153.
